The short version
We keep the little we need to run your links, and nothing else. We do not sell data, and we do not build advertising profiles of the people who tap your links.
What we store about you
- Your email address, so you can sign in and we can reach you.
- A hashed version of your password. The password itself is never stored.
- Your links: the short name and the destination.
- Your subscription status, and a customer reference from Stripe.
What we store about visitors
When someone taps one of your links we add to a daily total for that link. We keep counts, not people: how many taps that day, how many came from inside an app's browser, and how many were on iPhone or Android. Those last three are read from the browser's user-agent, which every website receives.
We do not set advertising cookies on visitors, do not store their IP address against a click, and cannot identify an individual visitor from what we keep.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe directly and never reach our servers. We store only the customer reference and whether the subscription is active.
Cookies
One cookie, holding a random session token, so you stay signed in. It is not used for tracking and there are no third-party cookies.
How long we keep it
Account data lasts as long as your account. Delete your account and we remove your links and their click counts. Some billing records are kept where the law requires it.
Your rights
Ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, and we will do it.
